I doubt it was built into so you'll need to install and configure lav or ffdshow to get full hardware video acceleration. When I go to the shark007 website I only see options for Vista, Win 7 and Win 8. Try the shark007 pack and play with the codec settings. Also probably worth mentioning that this is a fresh reformat and install of WinXP. All apps and other settings are on the internal drive. I use the USB drive only for file storage. How much space is on your internal drive? Can you configure that for your cache disk to try and rule out the USB bus? I think your USB controller may be choking. Here's a pic of all usage data with the TVCenter Pro running. I also checked CPU usage and it jumps from about 17% - 30%, not sure whether or not that is considered high usage for this process.
